Among other equally biblical truths, we believe in:

A.
The Holy Bible, the Word of God; in its divine, verbal, plenary inspiration, its inerrancy, and infallibility in the original manuscripts; and its supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

B. One God eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 3:14).

 C. The Lord Jesus Christ:

  • His essential, absolute, and eternal deity (Philippians 2:6; John 1:4, 14; Hebrews 1:8).
  • His true and sinless humanity (1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5).
  • His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:20).
  • His substitutionary, propitiatory death (Matthew 20:28; Mark 1:45; 1 Timothy 2:6).
  • His bodily resurrection (John 20:19-20).
  • His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:51).
  • His personal, visible, and bodily coming again with power and great glory (Titus 2:13; John 14:2-3; Revelation 19:11-16).
  • His victory over sin, self and Satan that manifests in everyone who have truly and genuinely encountered His Cross (John 8:11. Rom. 8:1-2, 37). Read more

What are CULM’s conviction in regard to various doctrinal positions?

Have more questions? We would love to connect with you

Christian Unity Life Movement seeks to present Jesus Christ, our Lord, to men, women, and children through the meeting of their life needs and sharing both the Gospel of grace that sets free from sin, and the Gospel of Peace between divided Believers. In order to carry out the task, a firm foundation on which to stand is needed.

Within the Body of Christ, there are core, or primary, doctrines. These are expressed in our Doctrinal Statement. Agreement upon these core doctrines is necessary for fellowship and cooperation with fellow ministers and likeminded ministries and groups genuinely seeking oneness.

There are, however, other doctrines upon which there are variations or differing positions. In keeping with the interdenominational status of CULM, careful consideration and strong emphasis must be given to the maintenance and demonstration of the “unity of the Body of Christ” in our fellowship and in our various ministries. read more
